Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KDT LLC ("KDT", "we", "us") collects and uses information in connection with our freight brokerage operations, including the carrier agreement portal at agreekdt.com and our text messaging program.
Information we collect
- Business contact information — name, company, mobile and landline phone numbers, and email addresses of carriers, drivers, and customer contacts.
- Carrier and driver credentials — MC/DOT numbers, insurance details, and driver licensing information required to legally tender freight.
- Shipment communications — text messages, images, and documents you send us about a load, along with delivery status metadata from our messaging provider.
- Voice conversations — where a carrier agreement or messaging consent is captured by phone, we retain a record of that conversation and the date and time consent was given.
How we use it
We use this information solely to arrange, dispatch, track, document, and settle freight shipments, to meet our recordkeeping obligations as a licensed broker, and to communicate with you about loads you are involved in. We do not use it for advertising.
Text messaging and your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile numbers collected for our messaging program are used only to communicate with you about specific shipments. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile numbers or SMS consent to anyone.
We collect a mobile number for texting only after you enroll — by checking the optional, unchecked-by-default consent box on your carrier agreement at agreekdt.com, or by agreeing verbally on a dispatch call. Both flows are documented on our text message opt-in page. Enrollment is optional and is never a condition of doing business with KDT.
Message frequency varies by shipment activity; most numbers receive only a handful of messages per load. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Reply STOP to any message to end texts at that number, or HELP for assistance.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to move your freight and run the business: with the shipper or customer on the load, with our messaging and email providers who transmit communications on our behalf, with insurers and factoring companies where applicable, and with government agencies where required by law.
Retention
Shipment records, signed agreements, and related communications are retained for the period required by federal brokerage recordkeeping rules and applicable state law, and thereafter only as needed to resolve claims or disputes.
Security
Access to our systems requires an individual account. Documents, messages, and credentials are stored on access-controlled infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your choices
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us, subject to the records we are legally required to keep.
