Text Message Opt-In

KDT LLC, doing business as DeCarteret Transport (US DOT 2844421, MC 958045), is a licensed freight broker in Houston, Texas. We send operational text messages to the carriers, drivers, and shipment contacts we do business with about specific loads: dispatch details, pickup and delivery updates, document requests, and replies to questions you send us. This is a conversational, transactional program. We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never text anyone we have not directly arranged freight with.
This page exists so that our consent flow can be reviewed publicly. The signing portal itself is reached by an expiring, recipient-specific link and cannot be opened without one, so the consent form is reproduced below exactly as a carrier sees it.
Path 1 — Consent form in the carrier agreement portal
When we onboard a carrier, we email that carrier's representative an expiring link to agreekdt.com/sign/<token>. The signing page collects the carrier's business details, insurance, and signature for the broker–carrier agreement. Near the bottom of that page, above the signature, the carrier sees the following. The checkbox is unchecked by default; the mobile number field appears only after the carrier checks it; and the agreement can be signed and submitted with the box left unchecked.

Path 2 — Verbal consent on a dispatch call
Carriers and drivers who we reach by phone can opt in during the call in which a load is dispatched or a rate is agreed. The KDT representative reads the following, word for word, and proceeds only on an affirmative answer:
"Can I text you at this number about this load? You'd get dispatch details, pickup and delivery updates, and document requests from KDT. Message frequency varies by shipment activity, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP any time to end the texts or HELP for help. This is optional — it's not a condition of doing business with us, and we can stay on phone and email if you'd rather. Our terms and privacy policy are at agreekdt.com/terms-of-service and agreekdt.com/privacy."
We record the date, time, mobile number, and the name of the person who agreed. If the answer is no, the number is not enrolled and we continue by phone and email.

Representative messages from this program:
- KDT (DeCarteret Transport): Load 48213 is dispatched to you. Pickup Wed 8/12 by 14:00 at Reyes Foods, 4400 Directors Row, Houston TX. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
- KDT: Checking in on load 48213 — are you loaded and rolling? Reply with your ETA to Dallas. Reply STOP to opt out.
- KDT: We still need the signed BOL for load 48213 to release payment. You can text a photo back to this number. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to end texts at that number. You will receive one confirmation and then no further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@kdtllc.com or 832.598.5980. Opting out of texts does not remove you from phone or email contact about active shipments.
